I sure hope so.
Some of my greatest memories are playing and swimming in the river I grew up near.

Kristin, I do that with my sister--she remembers so much more than I do, and is usually the one to fill in the blanks. Since this particular sister is just 13 months older than me, we share so many experiences, but it's uncanny how our memories of the same events are so often conflicting.

Bon vacances as you head off for a wonderful trip! And thank you for appreciating my photos.

Beautiful scrumptious photos! You have a great eye. Re remembering these moments... I like the way you describe it as a sense of joy that can' be explained (when we can't quite remember), then the memories that come later on. Why is it that we cannot remember when we are young?

I was just sharing memories with my sister on the phone (I shared with her scenes she had forgotten, and vice versa). Nice to have a friend or family member to "fill in the blanks" with the good memories, bien sûr.

Wishing you the making of many more scrumptious souvenirs this summer. Enjoy your blessings.
