We can never have enough wisdom. And we must remember to pass that wisdom on to others. It is also a part of ministering to others. I believe I have the gift of discernemnet. And sometimes I wish I didn't. Some of the things I seen in people scare me to death. My soul reacts like a cat meeting a dog for the first time. I want to climb a tree and hope they don't see me. It is a strange gift that sometimes leaves me confused. But I really wouldn't give it up. Great post!

I always think of Moses - an awesome example of humble servanthood - falling on his face before God pleading on behalf of his people. This has become probably the single most important aspect of my children's education this year - in fact, yesterday was our second time serving lunch to the homeless men at our local Union Gospel Mission - I don't know who got a bigger blessing out of it: the men, who got such a kick out of the little 4 and 5yo boys clumsily trying to dish up the desserts on their plates, or the kids and myself, who thoroughly enjoyed every minute of doing it! ( : There truly is a double blessing involved.
