It is for freedom we’ve been set free

JoJo down the drive

It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. Galations 5:1

This is a verse that came my way today from two different sources. I don’t know what it means to you, but I wanted to share it with you. Part of it for me means being FREE and available for all God has for me. No eye has seen or mind can comprehend what God has prepared for those who love Him. And none of it is fully available when we are not free. So, I’ll be meditating on what this means for me and how I can obtain further freedom…from fear, exhaustion, unbelief, and anything else that I struggle with.

That’s my little JoJo in the photo exercising her freedom! Without a care and full of the joy of living, she pedals into the wind like a newly released balloon reaching for the skies.

Oh, THAT was for me this morning! Thank you! Beautiful and wonderful and a perfect reminder of why we do what we do.

And Jen, may I repost this and link back to it on the Christianunschooling.com site? Such a beautiful truth and photo. No big deal if not but want to share–if not I will just link to it from there if you don’t mind.

BTW 2 things–how is teaching going? How are the kids liking school? I know God is using you to be such a blessing to those kids. Praying for you all.

Also, I am switching my ads out, for the most part, on my site and wondered if I could add an add for your company (not for pay just to do it–can’t guarantee I will draw anyone but, maybe.:))

Heather, I just emailed you, but THANK YOU for your encouragement. Yes, repost/link, I would be honored. And I definitely appreciate the blessing of putting a TeamMASCOT ad on your site!!

I think for me-it means not being a slave to this world when we were never created for it-but for the glory of God. And that is what line I often stray from-the world has so many things to pull at you, to get you wrapped up in the doings here-when most of them matter not.

Tipper, excellent reminder~we were created not for this world but for the glory of God. Thank you for your insight here!

Freedom to be continually transformed in Him - that we aren’t stuck where we were in past strongholds, but that we are truly free to be a NEW creation in HIM as we seek and strive after His Glory.

    Hey Jen!

I was just wondering if you could post a tour of your lovely home on here! I’m sure the inside is just as impressive as the little bits of outside I’ve seen!

Arielle, even better, you just need to come over for dinner! For goodness sake. :-) The kids would absolutely love to see you.

Julie, I meant to comment on what you said–”that we aren’t stuck where we were in past strongholds…” OOhh, how true and how I need to remember that I am NOT stuck nor do I need to act like I’m stuck, and just because I may once have been stuck and unable to obtain freedom, that was in the past, and I now live in the present and in the hope of my future, thanks to Jesus Christ!

Ah, to be young and FREE again!!! JoJo is having a great ride, I can tell.

I’m praying you find freedom and relief from “fear, exhaustion, unbelief, and anything else that [you] struggle with.”

BTW, I could use your prayers for those things too! (((Hugs))
