As a child I had a spot high in an apple tree. As an adult I have nowhere! :(

Love the picture and the fact that he has his own “spot”. I use to go up the mountain along the creek for my thinking. Now days it seems I can only get as close as looking out the back window-but even that helps. Neat post!

Heather, my favorite spot as a child was a tree, too. A poplar tree out front, from whose branches I could see the mountains and hide from the world. Some of my best memories are up that tree.

That is just beautiful! My favorite spot as a kid was a chestnut tree and then a nearby maple tree when I got too big for the chestnut tree–I loved to retreat there with a good book.

Ahhh – yes – the bathtub! I love the bath here in our new rental. A jettub that sits right next to a picturesque window with a view of the countryside and our little Tekoa mountain in the background. Very pretty and calming. I just love living in the country. ( : Thanks for sharing this.
