Overlooking the Valley

Overlooking the valley last week
Out hiking a few weeks ago. Near the east edge of our property is a stunning view of the valley below.

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. (Romans 1:20)

What element of God’s creation speaks to you today?

The Smokies swathed in snow never fails to take my breath away!

    The cold!
The cold is screaming at me.
Hate it! I’m so ready for spring.
    How about you?

Jennifer-the picture is amazing-you should so have it framed. Today the clear bright blue cold skies are speaking to me.

the rain. i always think of the scriptures on the “early and latter rain” and think of the outpouring of God’s Spirit on mankind.

that’s a beautiful picture of the valley and your kiddos.

You are going to cherish a pic like this when your kids are older. This a pic that just speaks of childhood and Gods greatness and our smallness. I look at those three little children and think of the mama behind them. You are so blessed!

Precious shot. Is your son’s hand in his sister’s back pocket??? How endearing.

We had property in southeast Oregon (Lakeview area) for about three years. Your photo reminds me of it. What a beautiful area.

God’s creation? Sunshine. Please bring it on!!! :~D

Thank you, friends for your wonderful comments! I love this picture, too. I only wish my other child was in this shot, then it would be perfect. My husband took this photo, and JoJo and I were straggling behind a bit on this particular hike, searching for bits of obsidian and maybe even an arrowhead.

Sarah, I’ve never seen the Smokies covered in snow, but I would love to. I’ve seen them cloaked in fog, though, and that was a beautiful sight. Tipper, the skies always move me, too. And Sheila, the rain - I love how it makes you think of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

e-Mom, If you want sunshine, come on over! I wish you still had your property over this way.

The stillness and quietness of a winter day reminds me of how we best can Hear His voice.

And yesterday, God’s miracle in the lives of some dear friends (read today’s post on my blog for this wonderful story!)

To answer you question: The snow falling in the mountains of UAE. http://gulfnews.com/articles/09/01/25/10278675.html

That might mean global warming and abnormal weather but to me, that meant everything is possible.
