My imaginary friend was Charlie. I didn’t have a sibling until I was 4 and he wasn’t really worth much til I was like 5 so it was all up to me and Charlie.

At 2.5 my daughter has 2 imaginary friends – Laura and Sassy. Sassy is actually a cat and she goes just about everywhere with us. She’s become an important part of our family!

We’ll see what her brother comes up with as soon as he can talk.

No, I didn’t have an imaginary friend and my daughter doesn’t have too but she got an imaginary HOUSE!! She calls it “my pink house”. She would say, she’ll give me sweets from that house and all the good things she can imagine! Jenn, interesting name - boy or girl? Glad you've seen the movie, I love it too! e-Mom, I followed that link to the Interurban, very cool how it's so interactive w/ the community. I never have had an imaginary friend nor have my kids however, my niece used to babysit a 4 year old with an imaginary friend. I don’t remember the friend’s name but she died in the Alaskan Airlines crash off the coast of California. We couldn’t believe a 4 year old understood what happened with the crash let alone putting her imaginary friend on board. She never had another one.

No. I had a younger sister and a younger brother and a multitude of friends! I did not have any imaginary friends. Mine were all real…and still are today! :)

Cute picture! My oldest son used to have an imaginary friend named Dylan when he was about 3 or 4. Dylan only showed up though when treats were being handed out. “Can my friend Dylan have some licorice too Grandpa?” What Grandpa can resist that? ( ;

As I was saying... LOL :~D Love that photo of Jojo! Here in the "big city" we have a sculpture of a group of people waiting at a bus stop. Appropriately titled, "Waiting For the Interurban" residents love to dress it up for graduations, birthdays etc. and take their photo infront of it. As for imaginary friends, my sister and I used to talk to a friend named "Sally" after the little girl in the classic "Dick, Jane & Sally" readers. Now is that dating me or what? :~D

This is a cute post- I love the pic of JoJo! I think I have seen that movie, though it has been a long time. I had a wild imagination as a child, but don’t remember having one specific imaginary friend. I would make them up as the situation required- ie: my prince would dance with me, fairies would live in our garden, etc.

Love the picture of JoJo and Statue Girl! One of my girls went through a very short stage of having an imaginary friend-because she was mad at her sister for not wanting to play with her.

I did the same thing as you with my animals and dolls. I remember feeling like I had to tell each one goodnight.

One time I heard one of my girls crying after I had put her to bed and went to check on her-she was sitting in the floor crying-when I ask her what was wrong she said “my maminals won’t give me no room” she was trying to sleep with too many stuffed animals. Oh those were the days!!
