My daughter keeps hers in a big bucket, the kind I store bulk foods in, like 25 lbs. of flour will fit in. The lizard can't climb up the slick sides. Just dirt, rocks, and a few other play things. Feeds on little crickets and other insects which we just find outside. And this lizard loves to be held - she carries him around everywhere! For quite a while, it was Daddy Longleg spiders that she was crazy about (from ages 3-4), so I'm quite happy to have moved on to lizards. She catches them at our property, keeps them for several days, then lets them go.
