Mrs. Darling, so true, there’s no place like Oregon! Well, this isn’t actually a “homeschool group,” just family friends who have lots of kids and also homeschool – this is really just two families. But we do get together with this family more than any other (which isn’t as often as I’d like).

SJ, yes, it’s the same spot!! We were lucky to be there before it dried up! A month later, and the lake would be gone. A very interesting geological feature!

Oh wow! We’ve been up here several times, but never when it was flooded. Now we know why it’s always so gorgeously covered in flowers.
