If you’ve ever seen the movieField of Dreams, you’ll recognize that dialogue between John Kinsella and his son Ray Kinsella (Kevin Costner). And, of course, it was Iowa. But here’s the Oregon version, a few days ago, in our front field - Dad and the two older kids.
Renae, it melts my heart, too. They had so much fun this day.
Sarah, people who drive out here for the first time are always breathless - it’s truly beautiful! This is the place we’re renting while we build our house up the road, which is equally beautiful, but different. We do have dreams for this property we’re renting, which is why I ended with the quote “We’re keeping this field.” I’ll write about it sometime, as the Lord leads.
