JHS, I agree, I’d like to have that feeling back, too! I have a vivid memory of being a child on top of a *giant* mound of dirt (you know how things look sooo tall when you’re a little one), and feeling so exhilarated.
Rob, ouch. I fell out a tree once and that deflated my feeling of being on top of the world pretty quickly.
CPA Mom, thanks so much for the great review!
e-Mom, Amen!
Renae, that boy really is in his element up there! He loves to climb trees as well, and just this morning I found him up in a tree that’s higher than the house.
Mrs. Darling, strange how age does that to you. I was such a climber as a young one, too, and now my knees get knocking and my stomach quivering when I get up too high (and look down).

Great photo!
Yes, I remember that feeling well and would love to have it back!
Cool picture. Yes, I remember it too – looking back up through the monkey bars with a sprained ankle. Yeah, not too coordinated ;-)
Hi Jennifer - I finally got the TeamMascot post up!

Yes, King of the castle! I’m glad we have a true King in Jesus, amen? Lol.
If you’re so inclined, it’s not too late to link up your piece on submission. By Friday PM is fine.
Hugs, e-Mom
What a great picture! You captured the joy of a boy in his element.
I love the clouds behind him. He is truly on top of the world!
