Karen, great idea for a Christmas gift for the grandmas! I've been wanting to do something like that; I'll have to check into Kodak and other companies that offer that photobook and look for a deal.

K T Cat, good point, do I really need a telephoto lens? :-)

Grace & e-Mom, thanks, the photo of the girls seems to be a winner. This was within an hour of the sun setting, and those low sunbeams sure helped me out.

In my opinion, that photo of your two girls on the fence is a winner! Great shot! Nice lighting. Hugs, e-Mom

I do regular scrapbooking for myself, but for the grandparents (who don't seem as interested), I make a photo book every year for Christmas. I use the Kodak website, but there are others. I have been very pleased. The quality is high and the shipping is amazingly fast. The grandparents look forward to that gift the most of all every year.

I try to wait until there is a 25% off promotion, and then I can get the photo books delivered for about 25$ each.

It's fun to have something that looks so professional!

Sprittibee, thanks - the glow was pretty, I must say. :-)

Jane, the girls on the fence is my favorite. It's funny because one is dressed in a summer dress and the other has a winter hat and pants. This actually reflects their natures; the one wants to wear a t-shirt and shorts year-round, and the other is always cold.

Robert, thank you! We do have fun, especially if we're outside. I need to remind myself when I'm having a difficult day with the kids that all we need to do is go outside and find an adventure.

You're stories, observations, and pictures are amazing (and your kids seem to be having a great time). Thanks for sharing it all.
