Wrap up that contest and other loose ends

Consent of the Governed is a Yankee fan; (regardless of numbers)
Under His Construction supports a variety of teams; (mostly the Washington State Cougars)
Our Seven Qtpies loves the Minnesota Vikings; (you’ll get kicked if you don’t)
Chasing the Wind comes in with notes on the Oakland As and Houston Astros (love those boys of summer).

Other loose ends: I’ve missed so many great carnivals lately; July has been a whirlwind of activity with hosting my French exchange student, along with my 15 year old niece…and still trying to maintain sanity in the home. So, here’s a reading list for you:

The Expatriate’s Kitchen hosted the Carnival of Family Life a few weeks back. While you’re there, be sure to read about the Strange Baby Gear. I’m sorry if you own any of these items and actually paid money for them. If someone gifted you with the Baby Safe Feeder, The Baby Care Timer, or the Designer Potty Stool, maybe I can understand, it’s not your fault.

The So Called Me hosts the current edition of Carnival of Family Life.

Principled Discovery hosted the Teacher-in Service edition of the Carnival of Homeschooling. And Tami host this week’s State Flower edition.

Mere Orthodoxy hosts the current poetry-themed Christian Carnival. (poetry courtesy of the host; while Mere O claims “bad poetry,” it’s all good!)

I’m sure I have more loose ends to gather, but that’s all for the moment.

    Ahhh - so sad to see it end - I was hoping to convince you to let me blog about a sports team again for another Cougar travel mug - I just know my husband is plotting to steal mine! LOL! Thanks so much for doing the contest - the mug is great!
    Thanks also for your comment on my recent post - it is convicting isn’t it?! My parents called me the day after I wrote it and said the same thing - they are in fact now having a garage sale in a week! ( :

    really!!? Oh I feel as if I am taking advantage - especially since I really don’t have that much blog traffic - not enough to really do much advertising for your business anyhows - but the mug is very nice and another may just be the solution to the wars I see coming over ownership of the one we have ( : - I just might do it - I will wait thought and do it when I do another link to Works for me Wednesday so I can be assured of more traffic - thanks friend!
